We are a fee-for-service facility. Full payment is required at the time of service. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, money orders and major credit cards. Although we do not accept third party payment, we will be happy to ensure that you have the proper documentation to obtain reimbursement from your insurance company.
Anesthesia & Pain Management Options:
- Local Anesthetic: No additional charge
You are given lidocaine to numb the cervix and ibuprofen for pain. You will be awake and alert during the procedure and you would be able to drive yourself home.
- Local Anesthetic with additional sedative: $10.00 (included after 12 weeks)
You are given an oral sedative to help you relax during the procedure. You will be conscious and aware of the procedure, but you will be drowsy.
- Local Anesthetic with additional pain medication $25.00 (included after 12 weeks)
You are given a shot in your hip to help you relax and to lessen the pain during the procedure. You will be conscious and aware of the the procedure, but you will be drowsy.
- IV conscious sedation: $100.00 (included after 16 weeks and free for minors)
Medications are given through and IV to help you relax and to lessen the pain during the procedure. Although you will be awake, you will remember little or nothing about the procedure. Hard contacts, removable dental work, and oral piercing must be removed for IV sedation.
Our medical staff screens all patients to see if they are candidates for sedation. Our staff has the right to refuse to administer sedation to any patient based on their evaluation of the patient's health. You must have a support person to drive you home with options #2 and #3. The only exception is local anesthesia with no additional sedation or pain medication (#1).
